Carey Priscilla dominates multiple worlds. The stunning Kenyan model, celebrated makeup artist, and savvy business owner now commands attention as a breakout star on Showmax’s The Mommy Club NBO, where she recently fueled drama among fellow moms.

Priscilla, a mother of three, owns two thriving beauty schools in Nairobi and entertains over a million followers with her hilarious TikTok skits featuring her husband, Benitto.
But in recent weeks, fans accused her of initiating beef between co-stars Jackie Matubia and Lynne Njihia.
In an exclusive interview, Carey Priscilla sets the record straight and shares the real stories behind the on-screen drama.
On Landing a Spot on the Show
This isn’t Carey’s first reality TV rodeo. She previously worked behind the scenes as a makeup artist for a show on KTN Home. She revealed that a chaotic schedule almost made her miss the opportunity altogether.
“The production team sent emails, WhatsApp messages, and called me last December,” Priscilla explained.
“My PA was off, and we were coming out of the festive season. I felt super busy and didn’t properly check my emails. Thankfully, everything worked out.”
On Juggling Business and Motherhood
As a mogul and mom, Priscilla admits that parenting demands immense sacrifice.
“I won’t lie, parenting is no walk in the park. Honestly, if you’re not ready to sacrifice, don’t rush into having babies.”
She credits her faith and support system for her success. “God’s timing is always perfect. My faith has been my anchor. I’m also incredibly blessed with a strong support system. My hubby has been amazing, and my siblings and nannies have all been there for me.”
On the Viral Vasectomy Conversation
The show revisited Carey’s viral stance on vasectomies, and she passionately defended her position.
Having never used family planning to have her children back-to-back, she believes it’s her husband’s turn to take responsibility.
“I have had to sacrifice a lot, like putting my career on hold,” she stated. “I feel it’s only fair for my man to step up. It’s simple and gives me peace of mind.”
She called local resistance from men “selfish,” adding, “They’re afraid to commit to one woman fully. Their biggest fear is, ‘What if we don’t stay together?’ If you can’t even consider a vasectomy for your family, where’s the fairness?”
On Keeping the Spark Alive with Benitto
Carey attributes their strong bond to shared faith and her own dedicated effort.
“A man can never truly love you right if he doesn’t love God first,” she said. “As a wife, I’m far from lazy. I believe in putting in the effort. I do my research and explore new ideas to keep things fresh. We can’t just do the same thing day in and day out.”
She even disclosed taking classes with a sex therapist to prioritize their intimacy and strengthen their marriage.
On Public Scrutiny and Rejecting Benito’s Proposal
After rejecting Benito’s marriage proposal on the show, a moment that sparked controversy online, Priscilla says she handles public scrutiny by staying true to herself.
“The key is to always be my authentic self. I don’t let societal pressure change who I am. The most important thing is knowing yourself. When you truly know who you are, nothing anyone says can shake you.”
On the Drama with Jackie Matubia
Addressing the tension with co-star Jackie Matubia, Carey offered a diplomatic take.
“Well, I wouldn’t call her dramatic, but Jackie projects a lot. Whenever the topic of marriage came up, she got triggered.”
Priscilla empathized, saying, “It’s not easy dealing with the emotional weight of having two marriages that didn’t work out, especially when you’re surrounded by younger people who seem to be succeeding. That must hit close to home for her.”
