Veteran radio powerhouse Cess Mutungi will helm the highly anticipated two-part reunion for the hit reality show The Mommy Club NBO, streaming on 29 August and 5 September 2025 exclusively on Showmax.
The announcement follows the show’s blockbuster 11-week run, which saw it consistently top Kenyan streaming charts and dominate social media conversations.
Mutungi will sit down with the five moms Jackie Matubia, Ofentse Tsipa, Lynne Njihia, Pierra Makena, and Carey Priscilla, to rehash the season’s most explosive drama and lingering feuds.
Mutungi brings a formidable reputation for hosting tough conversations, forged during her tenure as the drive-time host on Classic 105 and co-host on Capital FM’s Jam 98.4.
Her signature husky voice, infectious laughter, and unapologetic interviewing style made her the top choice to hold the cast accountable.“I have always believed in women speaking their truth loudly,” Mutungi said.
