The iconic street culture brand Chrome is launching a massive national consumer promotion, “Chromoka,” to celebrate its 10-year anniversary and empower its community with life-changing prizes.

The campaign, which fuses the brand name with the Swahili word “Omoka” (to make it), positions Chrome as a champion for strivers and creators. Chromoka will reward over 110,000 consumers, with ten grand prize winners each receiving Ksh 1,000,000.”

For a decade, Chrome has been more than just a beverage; it has been an integral part of countless cultural moments,” said Andrew Kilonzo, Country Managing Director at EABL.

“With Chromoka, we acknowledge this incredible journey and reaffirm our purpose to contribute meaningfully to our community’s aspirations.”

The campaign reflects Chrome’s deep roots in local culture and its focus on authenticity and celebration.

Company executives describe Chromoka not just as a promotion, but as a movement to directly support the ambitions of its consumers.

Mark Mugisha, Marketing and Innovations Director at KBL, stated that the team meticulously curated the prizes to align with the brand’s values.”Chromoka celebrates, empowers, and connects,” Mugisha said.

“We imagine an aspiring creator winning a content masterclass to propel their career, or individuals receiving cash to fuel their ambitions. Rewarding ten people with Ksh 1 million each creates the impactful moments we aim for.”

Consumers of legal drinking age can enter the promotion by purchasing a bottle of Chrome, scratching the label to reveal a code, and sending it to 22110.

Chrome emphasizes its commitment to responsible consumption throughout the campaign.

The brand invites the nation to join the celebration, marking a decade of culture and kicking off the next ten years of connection and success.
