DStv and GOtv Bring 2026 WRC Safari Rally Live to Kenyan Fans

Kenyan motorsport fans will experience every adrenaline-filled moment of the 2026 WRC Safari Rally live as DStv and GOtv deliver comprehensive coverage of the iconic event.

MultiChoice Kenya enters its third consecutive year as the official broadcaster, bringing viewers closer to the action as world-class drivers navigate the country’s legendary rugged terrain.

“The Safari Rally is one of the most iconic motorsport events in the world and a proud moment for Kenya on the global stage,” said Nzola Miranda, Managing Director of MultiChoice Kenya.

Fans can tune in to DStv Channel 228 on the Family package and above, or GOtv Channel 64 on the GOtv Plus package and above for live coverage of every stage.

“Fans can tune in from as little as KSh 999 on GOtv and catch up with key rally moments at their convenience via DStv Stream for as low as Ksh 2,250,” Miranda added.

“We are proud to continue building a growing tradition of rally broadcasting, and viewers can also look forward to the upcoming WRC series airing later in the year.”

The 2026 Safari Rally kicks off on Thursday, March 12, at the Wildlife Research and Training Institute in Naivasha.

The four-day competition concludes on Sunday, March 15, at the breathtaking Hell’s Gate National Park.Forty-six drivers, including 17 Kenyans, will battle it out across 20 grueling stages.

The star-studded entry list features defending champion Elfyn Evans, 2023 winner Sébastien Ogier, Thierry Neuville, and Grégoire Munster.

Local fans will rally behind homegrown talents carrying Kenya’s flag, including reigning African Rally Champion Karan Patel and rising star Hamza Anwar as they compete against the world’s best on home soil.

The event marks the fifth Safari Rally since its return to the World Rally Championship calendar and serves as the third round of the 2026 WRC season, following the Monte Carlo Rally and Rally Sweden.
