From now until January 3, 2026, dedicated Holiday Pop-Up Channels will showcase Africa’s most beloved celebrations.
Viewers can experience spectacular events like The Experience 20 on December 5, Unusual Praise on December 12, the Akwa Ibom Christmas Carols Festival on December 19, and the iconic Carnival Calabar from December 23-30. DStv customers can find it on Channel 198, and GOtv viewers on Channel 49.
The celebration kicks into high gear with a full day of Premier League action. On Sunday, December 1, subscribers will enjoy a one-day football festival at no extra cost, featuring five back-to-back matches.
The day promises high-stakes drama with top clashes including Chelsea vs Arsenal and West Ham vs Liverpool.“Entertainment brings people together, and this year we wanted to make the festive experience even more meaningful for families,” said Nzola Miranda, Managing Director at MultiChoice Kenya.

The football frenzy continues with the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) in Morocco, running from December 21 to January 18. GOtv will deliver a dedicated AFCON Pop-Up Channel, while DStv subscribers can catch all the action on Football Plus Africa (Channel 222) and SS Africa 2 (Channel 228).
The tournament will feature African giants like Ivory Coast, Egypt, and Senegal.To ensure no one misses out, MultiChoice has slashed decoder prices until December 31, 2025.
