Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) and the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya (IRCK) brought together over 400 guests from diverse faiths at an interfaith Iftar dinner at Movenpick Hotel in Nairobi yesterday.

Under the theme “Strengthening Bonds of Peace, Unity, and Diversity,” the event united religious leaders, government officials, diplomats, and representatives from international organizations.

Nasim Devji, DTB Group CEO, emphasized the bank’s commitment to inclusivity, stating, “Tonight, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and people of all beliefs gather to celebrate shared values. Interfaith harmony strengthens our community and nation.”

She added, “At DTB, we aim to improve lives sustainably through financial inclusion and social impact, uplifting all communities regardless of faith.”

Hon. Aden Duale, Cabinet Secretary for Health, urged Kenyans to champion unity, saying, “Our religious differences should inspire peace and tolerance. We must be ambassadors of cohesion, embracing diversity as a nation.”

This year marks the third consecutive partnership between DTB and IRCK in hosting the interfaith Iftar, reaffirming their dedication to fostering national unity.
