Habiqo Investments Limited secured the Second Runners-Up position in the prestigious Excellence in Sustainable Packaging Innovation category at the 2nd annual SPiCE Awards.

Kenya Extended Producer Responsibility Organization (KEPRO) hosted the ceremony, cementing its role as the nation’s leading voice on producer responsibility.

The awards followed the 3rd KEPRO Annual Circular Packaging Conference, which championed the 2025 theme “Futuristic Frontiers – All Black Edition.”

The event honored visionaries who are powering Kenya’s transition toward a smarter, cleaner, and more circular economic future.

Judges recognized Habiqo Investments for its eco-conscious packaging of the Jada natural care product line.

The company utilizes fully recyclable tins, biodegradable labels, and locally sourced materials for its cuticle salves, nail serums, and body cremes.

This innovative approach significantly reduces waste and actively promotes a circular use model.

“This recognition reinforces our belief that beauty and sustainability can go hand in hand,” said Janet Mwangi, Founder and CEO of Habiqo Investments Limited.

“We’re proud to contribute to a future where caring for your nails also means caring for the planet.”

The award spotlights Habiqo’s commitment via its Jada brand, celebrating its innovation, environmental performance, and measurable impact.

This achievement firmly positions the homegrown brand among Kenya’s leading voices in the responsible beauty and sustainable packaging movement.
