Maendeleo ya Wanawake Organization commend His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, CGH, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander in Chief of the Defense Forces, for his bold decision to nominate Prof. Kithure Kindiki as Kenya’s Deputy President.
Speaking during a press conference at their headquarters on Friday, National Chairperson Mrs. Rahab Mwikali Muiu said, “A week ago we spoke and wished the President God’s wisdom and today we are so grateful to God because wisdom has prevailed. This was done in the best interest of the nation.”
“On my own behalf as a National Leader from Eastern Kenya, on behalf of MYWO leaders in Eastern and MYWG Countrywide we say thank you to the President and Congratulate Prof. Kithure Kindiki,” she noted.
“Just like in any other position, I know we had marry bidders but the position was one so our prayer to our leaders is that lets support Prof. Kindiki as he support His Excellency the President. Prof, we will support you as you support His Excellency the President,” Mrs. Rahab added.
