By Eddah Waithaka

Mary Njoki, the visionary Founder and CEO of Glass House PR Limited, will serve as a judge for the prestigious SABRE Awards Africa 2025.

PRovoke Media presents the SABRE Awards (Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement), which globally recognize the gold standard for excellence in public relations by celebrating innovative and impactful campaigns across regions, including Africa.

The SABRE Awards, renowned as the world’s largest and most respected public relations recognition program, have set benchmarks for excellence in branding, reputation management, and strategic communications for over three decades.

The Africa edition of the awards attracts a diverse range of participants, including PR agencies, corporations, government entities, NGOs, in-house communication teams, media firms, and startups, all vying for recognition in categories such as crisis management, corporate reputation, and influencer marketing.

Mary Njoki’s inclusion as a judge marks a significant milestone, as she is the only founder and CEO from Kenya on the 2025 jury. This honor underscores her exceptional leadership and the global influence of Glass House PR Limited in shaping strategic communications across Africa and beyond.

“The SABRE Awards are all about celebrating the power of strategic communications, setting industry benchmarks, and championing innovation, creativity, and ethical storytelling,” said Mary. “I am excited to be part of the judging panel and look forward to bringing my expertise to this influential platform.”

Since founding Glass House PR Limited in 2012, Mary has established herself as a trailblazer in the public relations industry. Her agency has worked with over 100 organizations, including African governments like Zanzibar and Ethiopia, SMEs across the continent, and global brands such as Facebook and Uber. Her work spans diverse sectors, including technology, real estate, consumer products, and travel, earning her recognition as an award-winning entrepreneur and PR practitioner.

As the only Kenyan PR agency represented on this year’s SABRE Awards jury, Glass House PR aligns seamlessly with the awards’ mission to elevate the value of public relations. “Our values align seamlessly with the SABRE Awards’ mission to highlight the power of public relations,” Mary noted. “I am anticipating a competitive process as we build up to the awards ceremony later this year. All participants are unique in their way, and together with fellow panelists, we shall pick the best without prejudice.”

The SABRE Awards Africa not only recognize excellence but also serve as a networking platform for industry leaders, fostering global collaboration and reinforcing public relations as a trusted strategic profession. Mary’s participation as a judge further cements her commitment to advancing the industry.

“As Paul Holmes, founder of PRovoke, puts it, ‘Proving and Improving the Value of Public Relations,’ I am excited to contribute my expertise and collaborate with like-minded professionals who are equally committed to shaping the future of public relations, which is already at play,” Mary concluded.

The SABRE Awards Africa 2025 ceremony is set to take place later this year, with Mary Njoki and her fellow judges poised to celebrate the continent’s most outstanding PR campaigns. Her inclusion on the panel is a testament to her leadership, expertise, and the transformative impact of Glass House PR Limited on the African and global stage.
