MultiChoice Kenya has announced revised pricing for its DStv, GOtv, and Showmax packages, effective August 1, 2025.
The changes include moderate increases for DStv and GOtv subscriptions, while Showmax prices drop significantly, making streaming more affordable.
The company conducts annual subscription reviews to balance operational costs with customer value. MultiChoice says the adjustments will help sustain high-quality local and international content while keeping services accessible.
New Pricing Breakdown

DStv Residential Packages include Lite (KES 750), Access (KES 1,450), Family (KES 2,250), Compact (KES 4,200), Compact Plus (KES 7,300), Premium (KES 11,700), and XtraView (KES 1,700).
For GOtv, the updated prices are Lite (KES 299), Value (KES 599), Plus (KES 999), Max (KES 1,699), Supa (KES 2,199), and Supa Plus (KES 3,199).
Meanwhile, Showmax prices drop with General Entertainment Mobile at KES 200 (from KES 300), General Entertainment at KES 550 (from KES 650), Premier League Mobile at KES 450 (from KES 500), and the GE + Premier League bundle at KES 800 (from KES 1,000).
DStv for Business rates now stand at Stay Ultra (KES 3,370), Essential (KES 2,510), Basic (KES 1,580), Play Ultra (KES 15,650), and Work Ultra (KES 5,850).
MultiChoice Kenya reaffirms its commitment to local content investment and innovative entertainment solutions, ensuring customers receive value amid the adjustments.
