MultiChoice Kenya last night unveiled the highly anticipated second season of the epic series Shaka iLembe at an exclusive premiere event.
The star-studded gathering took place at Matteo’s Events in Karen, drawing industry leaders, diplomats, and devoted fans for a first glimpse of the new season before its official launch on Maisha Magic Plus this Sunday.
Distinguished Guests Grace the Event
His Excellency Mninwa Johannes Mahlangu, the South African High Commissioner to Kenya, and Her Excellency Ms. Winpeg Moyo, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Kenya and Chair of the Southern African Development Community, attended the premiere.

Timothy Owase, CEO of the Kenya Film Commission, also joined the event. MultiChoice Kenya’s Managing Director, Nzola Miranda, and Regional Director Glauco Ferreira represented the company.
Celebrity guests included The Mommy Club NBO stars Lynne Njihia and Ofentse Tsipa, sister to Lemogang Tsipa, who brilliantly portrays the legendary Shaka Zulu.
A New Chapter in the Shaka Zulu Saga Season 2 of Shaka iLembe follows the young warrior as he unites the Nguni kingdoms, forging alliances with the Elangeni, Ndwandwe, Mabhudu, Mthethwa, Hlubi, and Qwabe clans to build a formidable nation.
The season introduces pivotal historical figures, including King Phungashe of the Buthelezi, Queen Lojiba, and King Somhlolo of the Swati. It also highlights the encroaching threat of British and Boer settlers to the south, signaling a changing geopolitical landscape.
