Nairobi Hospital Denies Fraudulent Letter, Confirms Leadership Amid Corruption Allegations

By Eddah Waithaka

The Nairobi Hospital has disowned a fake letter circulating online under the name of “Herman Manyora, Chairman, Board of Management,” calling it a malicious attempt to mislead stakeholders.

In a media statement on Saturday, the hospital clarified that Manyora has never held the position and accused him of corruption.

“The document is fraudulent, and we have reported this matter to investigative authorities,” said Dr. Barclay Onyambu, the legitimate Chairman of the Kenya Hospital Association.

The hospital alleges Manyora solicited bribes from suppliers and is now trying to divert attention from his misconduct.

The hospital reaffirmed that only CEO Felix Osano or Dr. Onyambu’s office may issue official communications.

A scheduled meeting with insurance leaders on Monday, August 11, will proceed under Osano’s leadership. Stakeholders are urged to ignore unauthorized claims and verify updates through the hospital’s official channels.
