A coalition of foundations will deliver a major humanitarian intervention this week, targeting over 1,000 vulnerable residents in Oloika Village, Kajiado County.
The Safal MRM Foundation, partnering with Mabati Rolling Mills (MRM) and the Premchandbhai Foundation, is organizing a comprehensive two-day free medical camp and aid program.
The initiative will provide critical healthcare services, including consultations, screenings, and medications, alongside a large-scale distribution of food, clothing, and school supplies.
The Premchandbhai Foundation will lead the food donation effort as part of its broader relief mission. The camp will also feature a strong focus on sustainability, offering health education and empowerment programs designed for long-term community benefit.
This effort builds on the Safal MRM Foundation’s established presence in Oloika, where it previously provided essential flood relief in 2024 and distributed solar lamps to students living off the grid.
“We are honored to return to Oloika with this holistic support,” said Siprosa Rabach, Head of Safal MRM Foundation.
“With Premchandbhai Foundation’s partnership in nutrition and MRM’s commitment to sustainable solutions, we are addressing both urgent needs and systemic challenges.”
The initiative aligns with the Safal MRM Foundation’s core pillars of Health, Education, Environment, and Shelter.
To date, the Foundation’s SDG-aligned programs have impacted over 200,000 beneficiaries across Kenya through more than 50 medical camps, extensive scholarship programs, and significant disaster relief efforts.
Members of the public can support the initiative by donating via Paybill number 976147, Account name “Oloika Medical Camp”. The organizers are also accepting in-kind donations of medical supplies, assistive devices, and educational materials.
The Safal MRM Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Mabati Rolling Mills and the Safal Group, focused on alleviating human suffering and empowering communities across Kenya.
Mabati Rolling Mills (MRM) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality steel roofing and building solutions in East Africa.
The Premchandbhai Foundation is a philanthropic organization with over six decades of service, dedicated to fostering education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation. It has served over 2 million meals to food-insecure communities.
