Safaricom Celebrates Winners of ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge with Exciting Suzuki Alto Giveaways

On January 31, Safaricom marked the celebration of the inaugural grand prize winners of its ongoing ‘Wai Ndai’ challenge by presenting two brand-new Suzuki Altos.

The first monthly winners of the online gaming competition were 34-year-old John Maina from Naivasha, Nakuru County, and 32-year-old gamer Paul Njihia, who resides in Ruiru, Kiambu County. Participants in the challenge compete in various puzzles, arcade games, and action games for daily cash prizes, with the top monthly prize being a brand-new Suzuki Alto.

Speaking on his victory, an excited John Maina expressed his gratitude by saying, “I am thrilled to be one of the monthly winners in this competition, and I appreciate Safaricom for putting together such an initiative. This car will significantly aid my mobility and benefit my business, especially during these challenging economic times.”

The challenge, which is set to continue until February 18, 2025, has attracted participation from over 200,000 individuals nationwide. Fawzia Ali, Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer, stated, “With the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, we aim to provide an engaging gaming experience that connects with our youth customers. Our goal is to keep them entertained while on the move and give them chances to win exciting prizes.”

To enter and have a chance to win the remaining Suzuki Alto or daily prizes of KES 3,000, KES 2,000, and KES 1,000 vouchers, customers can sign up at https://sc.wineazy.com, through the MySafaricom app, or by using USSD codes *555# and *499#. Participation in the Challenges Arena starts at just KES 10 per day.

The ‘Wai Ndai’ challenge is a component of Safaricom Hook, which aims to empower young people by harnessing technology across three main themes. This initiative is part of the Culture Hook, through which Safaricom encourages youth to engage with their passions, including gaming.
