Showmax announces the premiere of The Mommy Club NBO, the fifth edition of the wildly popular Mommy Club franchise, this May.
The reality series will follow five high-profile Kenyan mothers as they juggle parenting, careers, and luxury in Nairobi’s fast-paced world.
After dominating screens in South Africa and Tanzania, the franchise now turns its lens on Kenya, showcasing the triumphs and trials of motherhood through the lives of these dynamic women.
Meet the Cast:
Jackie Matubia
The 34-year-old Kalasha-nominated actress and influencer mothers two daughters, Zari (9) and Zendaya (2), from different fathers.
Despite public scrutiny, Jackie champions co-parenting, often sharing heartfelt messages to her children’s fathers online.
DJ Pierra Makena
At 43, the renowned DJ and actress embraces single motherhood with her daughter, Ricca (8).
Unbothered by societal judgment, Pierra openly discusses raising her child while her baby daddy married another woman during her pregnancy.
Carey Priscilla

Ofentse Tsipa
The South African-born life coach, married to a Dutch businessman, navigates parenting two kids while studying at USIU-Africa.
Through her podcast, she empowers women on finance, self-growth, and marriage—all while embracing her perfectionist nature.
A Celebration of Modern Motherhood
Patricia Gichinga, Head of Production at M-Net, says, “The Mommy Club NBO* captures the essence of today’s mothers—ambitious, unapologetic, and fiercely loving. These women redefine parenting while thriving in their careers, and we can’t wait for audiences to connect with their stories.”
Produced by Eugene Mbugua’s D&R Studios (behind The Real Housewives of Nairobi), the series promises drama, heart, and a fresh perspective on Kenyan elite motherhood. Premieres May 2024, exclusively on Showmax.
