Superior Homes Foundation is making strides in empowering girls and promoting menstrual health across Kenya with its latest initiative at Liberty Care Centre, where it donated a year’s supply of sanitary pads.

This effort underscores the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that schoolgirls have access to essential menstrual hygiene products and valuable mentorship opportunities. Currently, the Foundation supports over 10,000 girls in 34 schools nationwide, offering mentorship talks that cover crucial topics including education, personal development, and career guidance. Through these programs, Superior Homes Foundation is fostering empowerment and building self-confidence among young students, paving the way for a brighter future.
Liberty Care Centre, situated in Mlolongo, is a dedicated children’s home that focuses on the care and support of underprivileged children. One of the pressing challenges faced by the girls in this community is the lack of access to essential menstrual hygiene products. To tackle this issue, the Foundation is generously donating a year’s supply of sanitary pads.
This initiative goes beyond simply fulfilling a basic need; it plays a vital role in empowering the girls to concentrate on their education and personal development, free from disruptions that can arise from inadequate menstrual hygiene. By ensuring these young women have the resources they need, the Foundation is paving the way for a brighter, more equitable future.
