Vivo Energy Kenya Launches Shell’s New and Improved Fuels to Revolutionize the Market

By Eddah Waithaka

Vivo Energy Kenya, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, has launched Shell’s next-generation fuels, designed to transform the driving experience for Kenyan motorists.

The new and improved fuels—Shell V-Power Unleaded, Shell FuelSave Unleaded, and Shell FuelSave Diesel—leverage cutting-edge cleaning agents and performance-boosting technology to deliver greater mileage, enhanced engine protection, and smoother drives.

Shell FuelSave Unleaded, for instance, now offers up to 15 extra kilometres per tank.

A Commitment to Innovation and Customer Needs

Speaking at the launch, Hans Paulsen, Vivo Energy’s Executive Vice President for East Africa, emphasized Shell’s dedication to innovation.

“Shell constantly strives to deliver more—whether it’s extra mileage, better engine performance, or a more enjoyable drive,” he said.

“With these next-generation fuels, Kenyan drivers will experience improved efficiency, superior engine cleanliness, and enhanced performance.”

Paulsen added that the upgrade reflects direct customer insights. “We’ve listened to our customers and responded with advanced fuel technology that meets their evolving needs. Shell FuelSave Unleaded now offers greater value, while Shell V-Power Unleaded—co-engineered with partners like Scuderia Ferrari—delivers top-tier performance for those who demand the best.”

A Customer-Centric Approach

Vivo Energy Kenya reinforces its commitment to excellence across retail and commercial sectors. At Shell service stations, customers enjoy a world-class experience, whether refuelling, shopping, or dining.

Every interaction prioritizes quality, convenience, and care. For commercial clients, Vivo Energy goes further by tailoring solutions to their unique needs, fostering long-term partnerships rather than just transactions.

With this launch, Shell solidifies its position as a leader in fuel innovation, empowering Kenyan drivers to go further and do more.
