Xtelify Launches AI-Driven Telecom Platform, Partners with Airtel Africa in Multi-Million Dollar Deal

Xtelify, Bharti Airtel’s digital subsidiary, today launched an AI-powered software platform to help telecom operators worldwide cut complexity, boost customer experience, and increase revenue.

The platform integrates a converged data engine for AI-driven insights, a real-time workforce optimization tool, and a customer experience management system all designed to reduce churn and raise ARPU.

In a major move, Xtelify signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Airtel Africa, deploying its Data Engine, Work, and IQ platforms across 14 African markets.

The partnership will empower Airtel Africa’s 150,000 field agents with AI-powered market insights, fraud detection, and hyper-personalized customer engagement tools.

Airtel Africa benefits from several powerful tools through Xtelify, including the Xtelify Data Engine, which enables micro-targeted strategies using real-time analytics.

Xtelify Work, which streamlines field operations for Airtel Africa’s workforce and Xtelify IQ, which enhances omnichannel customer interactions with AI-driven automation.

Jacques Barkhuizen, Group CIO, Airtel Africa, said, “This partnership accelerates Africa’s digital transformation. By leveraging Airtel’s proven AI solutions, we’re simplifying operations and delivering unmatched customer experiences.”

Binod Srivastava, Chief Business Officer, Bharti Airtel, added, “Our platform will help Airtel Africa combat fraud, improve service quality, and set new industry benchmarks.”

Airtel Cloud: A High-Speed, Sovereign Cloud for Enterprises

Xtelify also unveiled Airtel Cloud, a telco-grade platform capable of handling 140 crore transactions per minute.

Xtelify, originally built for Airtel’s India operations, now empowers businesses with GenAI-powered provisioning, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and advanced connectivity, all backed by over 300 certified cloud experts dedicated to ensuring security and scalability.

The platform offers no vendor lock-in, lower costs, and seamless migration, positioning Xtelify to reshape global telecom operations as it helps carriers enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer satisfaction.
