The Tujiamini Cheza Dimba tournament ignites the South Rift this Saturday, 15th November, transforming the William Ole Ntimama stadium into a hub of football, culture, and community passion.
Six men’s teams and two women’s sides from across the region will battle for glory and a chance to advance in the national tournament.

The men’s competition pits Maa FC, Sita Rangers FC, Zoo FC, Konoin FC, Namanga River FC, and Father Ntaiya FC against each other, while the women’s contest features a highly anticipated South Rift derby between Maasai Queens FC and NYS Starlets Gilgil.
“We will carry this home,” declared Maa FC Captain Dennis Naimoru, expressing his team’s determination. “SportPesa has brought this opportunity to our doorstep. While we have struggled in the past, funding ourselves, now we have a platform to win. Our fans should expect nothing less than victory.”
Beyond the pitch, the event will pulse with local energy as celebrated artist Papaa Masai headlines the entertainment, delivering his signature Maasai-inspired anthems to the Narok crowd.
SportPesa officials emphasized the tournament’s deeper mission. “Cheza Dimba builds more than football skills; it builds self-belief,” said Deborah Maina, SportPesa Public Relations and Advertising Executive.
“Through Tujiamini, we are bridging communities and giving talented youth a national stage to shine. Narok’s profound love for football makes it the perfect host for the South Rift leg.”
This South Rift event continues the tournament’s successful journey across Kenya, following stops in Central, Western, North Rift, and other regions.
The road leads to the national finals, where recent champions like Bondo United and Magina Starlets have already cemented their legacies.
Backing this nationwide talent hunt, SportPesa has committed KES 30 million to this year’s Tujiamini initiative. The platform has already empowered over 430 beneficiaries across sports, community projects, and creative ventures, in addition to supporting fifteen grassroots football teams.
