The hit Maisha Magic Plus telenovela Lulu is turbocharging its revenge plot with the powerful reunion of Kina co-stars Sanaipei Tande and Bruce Makau.

The acclaimed actors are joining the cast as the formidable Oremo family, arriving to avenge the death of their fallen patriarch.
This dramatic shift follows the violent death of Cleophas Oremo (Raymond Ofula) during a shootout with the rival Tindo family.
His death left his cunning daughter, Bri (Brenda Wairimu), alone to fight for his legacy. Now, Cleophas’s widow, Sonia Oremo (Sanaipei Tande), and his brother, Diamond Oremo (Bruce Makau), are entering the fray, bringing a new wave of vengeance, seduction, and chaos.
Sanaipei Tande, one of Kenya’s most celebrated entertainers, brings her commanding presence to the role. The chart-topping singer and Kalasha Award-winning actress stated that she is ready for the emotional intensity of the part.
“Joining Lulu at such a pivotal moment in the storyline is both challenging and exciting,” Sanaipei said. “The Oremos are entering this world with purpose, grief, and fire. Fans should expect disruption, the kind that shakes households and rewrites destinies.”
Bruce Makau echoed the excitement, promising a dynamic and unpredictable character. “Diamond is chaos charming one moment, lethal the next,” Makau said. “Reuniting with Sanaipei on Lulu felt like coming full circle. We are bringing a fresh, fiery dynamic that fans won’t see coming.”
The duo joins Kalasha Award-winner Brenda Wairimu, who has been masterfully manipulating the Tindo brothers as Bri Oremo. Wairimu, who also won a Kalasha for her leading role in Zari, welcomed the new additions.
“Working with Bruce and Sanaipei feels like a beautiful fusion of some of the strongest TV talent right now,” Wairimu shared.

Executive Producer Rashid Abdalla confirmed that the new cast members elevate the show’s core themes. “Sanaipei brings a rare blend of elegance and danger, and Bruce has an instinctive understanding of complex, morally ambiguous characters,” Abdalla said.
“What we are building in Lulu is a story about power, vengeance, and legacy. And this cast is the perfect storm to deliver that to our audience with authenticity and force.”
As the Oremo family rises to reclaim their power, the line between vengeance and survival is blurring, threatening to tear apart both their enemies and their own bonds.
Sanaipei Tande makes her debut as Sonia Oremo today at 8:30 p.m. exclusively on Maisha Magic Plus (DStv Channel 163 and GOtv Channel 3). New episodes air every Monday to Friday.
