Tulivu Co-Working Space Launches, Reimagining Nairobi’s Professional Workspace from Historic Hilton Building

By Eddah Waithaka

Dr. Anastacia Nyalita, Nairobi County’s Executive Committee Member for Business and Hustler Opportunities, officially opened the Tulivu Co-Working Space today, launching a state-of-the-art, hospitality-led workspace in the heart of the city’s Central Business District.

The grand opening of the iconic former Hilton Hotel building on Mama Ngina Street ushered in a new era for Nairobi’s professionals.

The facility directly caters to the growing needs of entrepreneurs, SMEs, corporates, and remote teams, bridging the gap between traditional offices and the dynamic demands of the modern workforce.

“Today marks a new chapter in the way Nairobi works,” said Blessed Muthoni, Centre Manager for Tulivu Co-Working. “We are offering more than just office space. Tulivu is a purpose-built environment that brings together functionality, design, and service to support the modern professional.”

Attendees toured the expansive facility, exploring fully furnished private offices, flexible coworking desks, and soundproof boardrooms. The space also unveiled a dedicated podcast and content creation studio and a massive conference hall capable of hosting up to 10,000 guests.

Tulivu offers businesses a prestigious CBD address with highly flexible plans. These range from daily coworking passes and dedicated desks to private serviced offices and virtual office packages.

A trained hospitality team supports the entire operation, providing high-speed internet, smart boardrooms with AV capabilities, and concierge-style services.

Dr. Nyalita praised the initiative, stating, “Nairobi County is committed to fostering a business-friendly ecosystem. The launch of Tulivu reflects the growing demand for innovative, adaptive workspaces that empower entrepreneurs and fuel our economic growth.”

Tulivu’s entry into the market signals a major shift in Nairobi’s commercial landscape. As hybrid work models evolve and demand for agile office solutions increases, the city is poised to emerge as a regional hub for flexible, business-ready environments.

Tulivu Co-Working provides a premium, hospitality-led workspace experience in Nairobi CBD. Thoughtfully designed for productivity, creativity, and professional calm, it offers flexible work solutions ideal for freelancers, consultants, startups, and corporate teams.
