A medium-range oil and chemical products tanker, M.T. Bellatrix, has delivered more than 21,000 metric tonnes of Shell V-Power petroleum product to the Mombasa port, leading a wave of seven merchant shipping tankers scheduled to discharge petroleum products this week.
The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) shipping schedule shows M.T. Bellatrix discharged its Shell V-Power cargo at the Shimanzi Oil Terminal on Tuesday.
Vivo Energy Kenya exclusively imports and distributes Shell V-Power in Kenya. The company describes the product as a specially formulated motor gasoline that delivers enhanced protection and superior performance.
After discharge at Shimanzi Oil Terminal, Vivo Energy Kenya stores Shell V-Power at its Mombasa terminal before transporting it inland for distribution to Shell Service Stations. The company also moves V-Power exclusively from Shimanzi to Nairobi via Kenya Railways Corporation Rail Tankers as part of its commitment to delivering quality differentiated fuel products.
Shell V-Power contains three times more cleaning molecules than regular fuel, actively cleaning vehicle engines by targeting residue and helping prevent future buildup on critical parts. The formulation also provides continuous protection against corrosion and deposits.
Vivo Energy Kenya operates a portfolio of more than 350 service stations countrywide and continues to invest heavily in modern sites that give customers access to high-quality products, services, and greater convenience.
