Caetano Kenya, in collaboration with Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC), has officially introduced the JMC brand to Kenya, launching the locally assembled Vigus lineup.

The move aims to meet the growing demand for reliable, cost-effective commercial vehicles while strengthening Kenya’s automotive industry.

The Vigus series includes the Vigus Pro Single Cab (light commercial vehicle), Vigus Pro Double Cab (passenger vehicle), and Carrying Plus Truck (light commercial vehicle).

Designed for durability and efficiency, these models offer high performance at competitive prices, backed by Caetano’s nationwide after-sales support.

By assembling the vehicles at Kenya Vehicle Manufacturers (KVM) using Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits from China, Caetano Kenya reinforces its commitment to local job creation, skills development, and industry growth.

Key features of the Vigus lineup include the Ford Puma 2L engine, optimized for fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.

Prices range from Ksh. 3,300,000 to Ksh. 4,990,000, positioning the brand as a strong contender in Kenya’s competitive market.

With trained technical teams and an established dealer network, Caetano Kenya ensures robust after-sales service. The company projects sales of at least 100 units in 2025, driven by rising demand for quality commercial vehicles.
