Single Kiasi Season 4 Promises Fire and Fury on Showmax

By Editor

Nairobi’s most beloved girl trio storms back onto screens this September, and this season promises to be their most intense yet.

Season 4 of the hit Showmax original Single Kiasi picks up directly from last season’s cliffhanger, plunging Sintamei (Gathoni Mutua) into chaos.

A night of questionable choices with Nick (Lenana Kariba) leaves her consumed by guilt, driving her to pour herself into her work to elevate her law firm.

But a charismatic new stranger soon tempts her onto a dangerous path.Meanwhile, Rebecca (Faith Kibathi) and Nick’s budding romance buckles under intense family pressures, masterfully orchestrated by Nick’s manipulative mother.

And Mariah (Minne Kariuki), having survived heartbreak, is fiercely shedding her victim narrative.

She embraces her power by diving into a new relationship where she finally seizes control.

According to co-directors and co-producers Phillipe Bresson and Grace Kahaki, this new season pushes the three women to their absolute limits.

“We are pushing the girls to their absolute limits. Every decision has a consequence, and they will be forced to fight tooth and nail for their careers, their relationships, and their sanity,” said Bresson.

Kahaki added, “We also wanted to explore what happens when strong women are pushed into the deep end, do they sink or swim? Viewers will see them fight for survival in Nairobi’s concrete jungle like never before.”

The returning featured cast includes Kevin Maina, Wanjira Longauer (Disconnect: The Wedding Planner), and Jimmy Gathu (The Chocolate Empire).

This season also welcomes powerful new faces, including Brian Ogola (Second Family), Xavier Ywaya (Jiji), and Maqbul Mohammed (Crime & Justice).

Single Kiasi continues its reign as a powerhouse for Showmax, ranking as one of the most-watched titles on the African streamer for three consecutive years.

The series recently earned a nomination for Best TV Drama Series in East Africa at the 2025 Zanzibar International Film Festival and scored four nods at the 2024 Kalasha Awards.

Get ready for the fire when Single Kiasi Season 4 drops exclusively on Showmax on 17 September.
