Carrefour Kenya has officially wrapped up its “10 Years, 10 Million Stories” customer appreciation campaign, handing over brand-new cars and school fee vouchers to winning shoppers at the Two Rivers Mall.
The campaign, which marked the retailer’s 10th anniversary in Kenya, rewarded customers across its stores and the Carrefour App with prizes valued at over KES 20 million . The grand prize winners—Cynthia Nyamasyo, Sharyl Patel, Josephine Mwenje and Deep Mota—walked away with cars and school fee vouchers during the awards ceremony at Carrefour Two Rivers.

The rewards programme, which ran from 22 May to 11 June, also gave away home appliances and fully paid holiday trips, bringing to life Carrefour’s anniversary message of celebrating the customers who have shaped its journey over the past decade .
A Decade of Growth
Since entering the Kenyan market in 2016, Carrefour has expanded to 34 stores nationwide and served more than 119 million customers, including 24 million in 2025 alone . The retailer has invested close to KES 15 billion in Kenya and spent over KES 239 billion with local suppliers.
Carrefour currently works with more than 690 Kenyan suppliers, sourcing 99 per cent of its products locally . The retailer has also created over 3,000 direct jobs and invested in workforce development through its Retail Business School, which delivered more than 44,700 hours of training in 2025.
Celebrating Everyday Connections
Beyond the prizes, the campaign highlighted Carrefour’s everyday relationship with Kenyan shoppers, from school shopping and family groceries to household essentials and convenient online shopping . As the campaign comes to a close, Carrefour says the milestone is both a celebration of its growth and a tribute to the shoppers, suppliers, employees and communities that have contributed to its story in Kenya.
