Setup: Surprisingly Simple
EllaClaw lives inside TECNO’s existing AI Assistant, Ella, requiring no separate installation. After updating to the beta software, activation walks you through interaction preferences and lets you customize the assistant’s personality. Within minutes, three core capabilities emerge: One-Tap Phone Caretaker, Seamless Cross-App Intelligence, and Proactive Digital Companion.
Your Phone’s New Caretaker
Modern smartphones still overheat, drain batteries, and burn through mobile data. Fixing these issues usually means digging through settings, a tedious process for most users.
EllaClaw changes that. We tested the feature by prompting, “My phone feels a bit hot. Help me cool it down.” Within seconds, EllaClaw interpreted the request, selected the right optimization tools, and began cooling the device. After a few minutes, the back panel temperature dropped perceptibly.

Need a ride after errands? Ask EllaClaw to book one. The system visually interprets app GUIs and navigates them like a human would with your explicit authorization. Supported categories include transportation, food delivery, shopping, smart home, travel, and system-level apps.
It’s still a beta, and not every application works perfectly yet. But when it does, the time savings are undeniable.

Most phones hold valuable data calendar events, travel plans, messages but wait for you to find it. EllaClaw’s persistent memory learns your habits, preferences, and recurring needs over time. It becomes an adaptive digital companion that anticipates what you need.
SMS management offers a practical example: EllaClaw reviews incoming messages, filters spam, extracts bills, reservations, and appointments, and organizes them into structured notes all automatically.

Every sensitive action making calls, sending messages, deleting contacts requires explicit user confirmation. If you don’t respond, the task pauses. You can watch each tap, swipe, and navigation step in real time and pause, interrupt, or stop the task at any point.
EllaClaw does not access payment, transfer, or wallet interfaces. You can manage or revoke app permissions anytime through the App Control Permission settings.
This visible execution, strict opt-in access, and continuous oversight directly address the biggest challenge facing agentic AI: trust.
