Konza Technopolis, in partnership with Delta Motor Sports, hosted the highly anticipated Easter Weekend ‘Race Wars’ motorsport event, attracting over 1,500 motorsport enthusiasts, innovators, creatives, and industry stakeholders.
The two-day spectacle featured 40 high-performance racing cars competing across multiple categories, delivering an adrenaline-charged showcase of speed, skill, and cutting-edge engineering.
Race Wars blends sport, innovation, and digital culture. Two race formats — Rolling races and DIG races — unfolded along Konza Technopolis’ half-mile streetscape. By hosting the event, Konza Technopolis positions itself as a dynamic destination where innovation extends beyond offices and laboratories into cultural and sporting platforms.

Delta Motorsports Club Chairperson Umang Soni, praised the venue choice. “Delta Motorsports Club’s decision to host RaceWars at Konza Technopolis demonstrates outstanding strategic vision, perfectly aligning high-performance motorsports with Kenya’s premier hub for innovation and technology,” he said.
“The venue offers exceptionally smooth, wide tarmac stretches and a controlled, safe environment ideal for competitive racing, while simultaneously showcasing Konza Technopolis as a versatile, world-class destination beyond its tech reputation.”
After two intense days of racing, Lexus Musa clinched the 1000cc Bikers category. Salman Mohamed claimed victory in the two-wheel drive category, while Jeremy Kithome took home the award for best driver in the Open Class.
